Scenerio 1: Check Decals are not repeatedly jumping between access points
In the event they are, please bind the Digital Decals to a designated Access Point.

Scenerio 2: GEN 1 DECALS - Cannot connect to internet
Unlike the Gen 2 Decals (that use the Crawl Connect App), the Gen 1 decals connect to your venues Wi-Fi by either:
- Inject Wi-Fi: this can only be done before the Decals are dispatched from our office.
Essentially, we inject the SSID and password you provide so it will connect when the decal is powered on.
Note, if you can see the Decals SSID - it means it is NOT connected to the internet.
- Manual Connect:
Gen 1 Decals require you to connect to the decal via a web browser.
The Gen 1 decals use a raspberry Pi Zero W. As such they cannot check for internet connection / sumbit credientials, and go into 'pair' mode at the same time.
This means there is only a limited window to use your phone to connect to the Decal, open the settings page and enter your AP's credentials.
When the decal does not receive opimal power, this process can become almost impossible - hence one of the driving forces for us to create the Gen 2 Decals..
This will only work if the Decals have optimal power (newer USB 3.2 GEN 2 cables & required Belkin Charger).
As such we request you call our support team bebore attempting the following:- Turn off all decals other than the one you are trying to connect to Wi-Fi
- Get the required IP address: Log into your Beer Crawl account > Select your venue > Digital Decals tab > Connection tab.
- Under step 6, note the IP address you will require.
- On your phone: temporarily type in the IP address so you can copy/paste.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi is enabled - and - disconnect from any connected Wi-fi.
- Refresh your Wi-Fi - connect to the SSID ‘Digital Decal + serial number’
- Confirm you are connected
-
In the phones intgernet browser, paste the IP address and load page.
Note if this page is not available - the pairing mode has lapsed, go back to previous step and refresh until it becomes available. -
Click connect > wait > check status on Decal Screen and in decals tab in beer crawl (Green = connected)
Note, if you can see the Decals SSID - it means it is NOT connected toi the internet.
